Agreements Concluded by Members Adopted on Behalf of the Network
Office of Agreements

Before the establishment of the Ministry, member organisations of the Velocity Interoperability Network concluded agreements with outside organisations on their own account. Where those agreements connect an outside organisation to the Network, or otherwise bind the Network as a whole, they have today been adopted by the Ministry on behalf of the Network.
Eleven agreements have been adopted: four interoperability agreements, three cooperation agreements, two exchange agreements and two memoranda of understanding. Each has been entered in the Register of Agreements with a reference number, and each continues in force on the terms on which it was concluded. The member organisation that concluded each agreement remains the member concerned with its operation.
From today, new agreements between the Network and outside organisations are proposed to, negotiated by and concluded through the Office of Agreements. Member organisations do not conclude such agreements separately. Ordinary business that does not bind the Network is unaffected and may continue to be conducted by members directly.
The Register of Agreements is published on the Agreements page of this site. Outside organisations that are party to an adopted agreement have been notified in writing.
