An official website of the Velocity Interoperability Network

Guidance

The Ministry publishes guidance for businesses, employees, students and travellers engaging with the Velocity Interoperability Network. This page sets out, for each group, what the Ministry does and what is handled elsewhere.

Businesses
Organisations outside the Network that wish to connect their systems to it, or to work jointly with it, do so under an agreement concluded by the Ministry.
Employees
Staff of an outside organisation who will work within the Network do so under an exchange agreement. Work visas are issued by the Immigration Department.
Students
Students of an outside institution who will study within the Network do so under an exchange agreement between their institution and the Network.
Travellers
Visitors to the Network need no dealings with the Ministry unless they are travelling on official business. Entry and visas are matters for the Immigration Department.
